The ticket booking for the workshop and entry was a bit murky. I wasn't quite sure what the deal was with the '1 free entry ticket if you book a workshop' that was mentioned in an earlier email. The separate systems for booking workshops and entry didn’t help clear things up at all, and it left me scratching my head. I had to wait a few days to find out if I needed to grab entry tickets after booking three workshops on three different days. Turns out, I didn’t need to book entry for any of the days I was attending a workshop, but I almost went ahead and booked them anyway—thank goodness I held off! If I had known that booking one of my workshops on a third day would have given me free entry for that day, I would’ve done it, so I’m a bit miffed about that. A little clearer communication could’ve sorted this out, like saying 'booking a workshop means free entry on that day' in every email before the event, and repeating that info, especially when booking the workshops. I’ve sent some polite feedback to the staff via email. Here’s hoping the actual festival runs smoother than the booking process! Can’t wait for the event!
